Roman Construction and Design grew out of a simple belief: San Diego homeowners deserve an outdoor remodeling contractor who takes the work as seriously as they do. Too often, outdoor projects are treated as an afterthought by general contractors juggling everything from kitchens to roofs, and it shows in the results.

We chose to specialize. Outdoor remodeling and landscape design only. That means every member of our crew, every material source, and every process we've built is dialed in for exterior construction in San Diego's specific climate, soil, and permitting environment. It's made us genuinely better at this work than contractors who do it on the side.

For larger projects, we handle the full scope in-house. That means gas lines for fire features and outdoor kitchens, electrical for pergola fans and landscape lighting, plumbing for outdoor sinks, and drainage systems for hardscape and retaining walls.
