Gas fire pits are easier to use (instant on/off), produce no smoke, and require less maintenance. Wood-burning pits offer the classic campfire experience with crackling sounds and the smell of real wood. Many San Diego homeowners prefer gas for convenience, but we build both.
Do fire pits require permits in San Diego?
